We are responsible breeders of traditional Burmese kittens - looking for responsible, loving owners. We have been breeding for 23 years and have a wealth of knowledge and information we can share.
Being a responsible breeder means:
We do not 'kitten mill' - we allow time for our queens to recover from raising a litter before being bred again.
Our queens are adults before being bred the first time (we don't breed kittens to make kittens). All of our cats are family companions and raised underfoot as family members.
We are looking for responsible owners that will make baby a part of the family - as an indoor only family companion. Our kittens are sold with the stipulation that they never be de-clawed and if they cannot be kept at any point in their life we are to be contacted and will take them back and find them a good home. Burmese are very social animals and want to be loved/handled. Baby will need to be spayed/neutered at approx 6 months of age.
We have found the fairest way of placing kittens with their new families is by working with the date that deposits have been received. To reserve a kitten we ask for a reservation contract agreement to be filled out and a non-refundable deposit.
After babies have received their 1st vaccinations at approx 8 weeks of age, we will contact families and let them know what is available (colors/genders) and they will have the option of accepting one of the available babies or waiting for a future litter. Kittens can go to their new homes at 12 -14 weeks of age after their vet checkup and final vaccination.
Availability is entirely up to Mother Nature... mama does not tell us number of babies, color or gender until they arrive.
